Privacy Policy

The app

• JustMD does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
• The app is sandboxed and only reads the files you open, plus any folder you allow so it can show the images inside.
• It has no analytics, no accounts and no tracking, and it never sends anything about you or your documents anywhere.
• It connects to the internet only to load images that a document you open links to. Those requests go straight to the image’s own server, as they would in a browser.
• The version downloaded from this website can also check GitHub for new versions, if you allow it when it asks. A check downloads one small file from GitHub; like any web request, GitHub sees your IP address and the app version. Nothing about your documents or how you use JustMD is sent. The App Store version is updated by the App Store and never checks.
• It remembers which files you had open using macOS security-scoped bookmarks, stored inside the app’s own sandbox container on your Mac. They never leave your device.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking. If you switch the theme with the sun/moon button, that choice is saved in your own browser and never sent anywhere.
